Possui graduação em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (2000), residência em Clínica de Pequenos Animais pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2002), mestrado em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2004) e doutorado em Ciência Animal pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2009) com doutorado sanduiche na Universidade de Liverpool, Inglaterra. Pós doutorado pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (2010). Responsável pelo Centro de Diálise de Pequenos Animais na Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia - UNESP-Botucatu. Presidente da sub comissão de técnicas dialíticas do Colégio brasileiro de Nefrologia e Urologia Veterinárias (CBNUV). Atuação e experiência em Clínica de Cães e Gatos, Nefrologia e Urologia com ênfase em hemodiálise, diálise peritoneal, hemoperfusão, Terapias de Substituição Renal e Terapias Extracorpóreas. Atualmente é Docente da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia - UNESP-Botucatu-SP desde 2011, atuando no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Medicina Veterinária orientando mestrado e doutorado na área de Nefrologia e Urologia Veterinária.
