She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, IQ-Araraquara (1991), a Bachelor's Degree in Science with a Specialization in Chemistry from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, IQ-Araraquara (1992), a Master's Degree in Inorganic Chemistry from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1995), a PhD in Postgraduate Studies in Chemistry from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, IQ-Araraquara (2001) and a Associate Professor Degree in Inorganic Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Presidente Prudente Campus, SP (2024). She completed her postdoctoral studies in the Department of Chemistry at FFCLRP-USP (2001-2005), and a postdoctoral internship at the University of Bern, Switzerland (2004). She currently holds the position of Associate Professor (MS-5-I) at the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Faculty of Science and Technology - Presidente Prudente Campus. She is the leader of the LLuMeS Research Group (Laboratory of Luminescence in Materials and Sensors), together with Prof. Dr. Sergio A. Marques Lima, which is linked to the Center for Innovative Laboratories in Materials Applied to Sustainability (CLIMAS), of a multi-user nature, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Carlos José L. Constantino, and which brings together infrastructure, researchers and technical staff from the Departments of Physics and Chemistry and Biochemistry of FCT-UNESP. She is a permanent professor of the Graduate Program in Chemistry at IBILCE-UNESP (Grade 5 by CAPES), São José do Rio Preto Campus and is also part of the Faculty of the Graduate Program in Chemistry at IQ-UNESP, Araraquara (Grade 7 by CAPES). She has experience in the area of Chemistry, with emphasis on Inorganic Chemistry and Materials Chemistry, working mainly on the following topics: luminescent materials, spectroscopy, nanomaterials, luminescent probes, rare earth ions, luminescent complexes and hydrids.
