Undergraduate in Veterinary Medicine from São Paulo State University (Unesp), Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Santa Maria and Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from the São Paulo State University. She is a Full Professor (beginning 2011) at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science (FMVZ), Unesp Botucatu. She was vice-coordinator of the Graduate Program in Veterinary Medicine at FMVZ, Unesp Botucatu (2004-2006), and coordinator from 2007 to 2009 and 2010 to 2012. She was responsible for sending the Graduate Program in Wild Animals to CAPES, which began on August 17, 2015. She was the coordinator of the Graduate Program in Wild Animals from its creation (2015) to 2021 and vice-coordinator of the Wild Animals Program from 7/8/2021. She was the general coordinator of the INCT-Science of Wild Animals (CAS)-Called INCT-MCTI / CNPq / CAPES / FAPs n 16/2014, which was approved only on merit in 2016 and received an INCT seal certificate. She was a member of CA - Medicina Veterinária from 07/01/2020 to 06/30/2023. She has experience in Veterinary Medicine, with an emphasis on animal surgery, working mainly on the following subjects: dog, cat, surgery, fracture, small animals, and wild animals.
