Graduated in Agronomy (1984), Master (1988) and Ph.D. (1992) in Agronomy - Plant Production from FCAV/UNESP in Jaboticabal/SP. He is currently Prof. Full Professor at FCAV/UNESP de Jaboticabal/SP (2004), where he has been a professor since (1993). Has experience in Agronomy, working on Matology, acting on the following subjects: weed, herbicide, aquatic plant, selectivity, biotechnology, flora survey, allelopathy, anatomy, pesticide application technology and growth regulators. It has an international presence through publications in foreign journals, affiliation to scientific societies (Portuguese Horticulture Association - APH) and partnership with professors from other countries in the field of mathematics in studies of weed management and growth regulators in lawns .
