Abstract
In this project, we will study persistent homology. To do that we will make use of some diagrams known as barcodes. Finally, we will apply such methods of data analysis to illustrate its efficiency and relevance.

In this project, we will study persistent homology. To do that we will make use of some diagrams known as barcodes. Finally, we will apply such methods of data analysis to illustrate its efficiency and relevance.
The main goal of this project is to introduce the student to research by means of the study of Homological Algebra, a fundamental topic to whom is going to start a Graduate course in the future. Some subjects of the project are: modules, exact sequences, categories, functors, in particular the functors Tor and Ext. (AU)
The aim of this project is an introductory study of Homotopy Theory, a branch of Algebraic Topology. More precisely, we will study the most basic invariant in Homotopy Theory, which is the Fundamental Group. We also intend to solve some mathematical problems through the use of this group. Finally, we hope the student will obtain a good education to attend a graduate course in Algebraic To…

We will study the higher order Whitehead product for a more general class of spaces, namely, co-H-spaces. In order to do that we will study Gottlieb groups. In addition, some particular cases concerning the Moore and Barratt conjectures will be considered. (AU)
