Cezinande de Meira

I graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of UFPr (1982), masters degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Minas Gerais (1990), residency (1984) and PhD (1995) in School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences-FMVZ-UNESP, Botucatu, and Post-doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA (2002). In 2006, I competed for the Associate Professor in Physiology and Biotechnology of Animal Reproduction. In 2022, I competed for the position of Full Professor in the discipline of Animal Reproduction, Artificial Insemination and Reproductive Biotechniques, currently holding the position of Full Professor at the FMVZ-UNESP, Botucatu, Department of Veterinary Surgery and Animal Reproduction. He has experience in Animal Reproduction, with emphasis on Reproductive Biotechnology, mainly working on the following topics: Biotechnology of equine embryos (Transfer, Superovulation, Cryopreservation of embryos, etc.) and physiopathological aspects of reproduction. Coordinated the mandatory curricular internship of the 5th year of the Veterinary Medicine course, supervises undergraduate students in monitores, scientific initiations, 5th year final year projects and interns. In postgraduate studies, supervise Master's, Doctoral, Post-Doctoral, Residency and teaching internship students. Publishes scientific articles in highly relevant national and international journals in the scientific community. In extension, work in the provision of services at the Veterinary Hospital, and too organized and mistered dozens of courses and events in reproduction, as well as lectures at congresses and symposia. My experience in management began during my student years, when served as Director of the Pig Farm of the University Student Residence of the Paraná State (CEU - 1980-82 term), where resided during my undergraduate studies. While a resident at FMVZ-Unesp, were President of the Association of Veterinary Resident Medical (AMVR) and a representative of his peers on the Residency Council. We were the head of the Department of Animal Reproduction and Veterinary Radiology three times. Were President Director of the Foundation for Support of Veterinary Hospitals of Unesp (FUNVET) from 2007-2009, Supervisor of the Veterinary Hospital (2009-2013 management), Vice Dean of FMVZ-Unesp (2017-2021 management), Dean of FMVZ-Unesp (2021-2025 management), and currently holds the position of President Director of FUNVET. e-mail: c.meira@unesp.br (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
