Cátia Regina Branco da Fonseca graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (1995), with a Medical Residency in Pediatrics and Social Pediatrics at the same institution (1996-1999). He holds the title of Specialist in Pediatrics, from the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics (1997). Master in Pediatrics from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP. PhD in Sciences applied to Pediatrics from the Federal University of São Paulo - Escola Paulista de Medicina - Department of Pediatrics. Full Professor in Social Pediatrics at FMB-UNESP (2022). Advises students of Medicine, Nutrition and Nursing courses in scientific initiation (FAPESP and CNPq) and in extension and teaching projects. Lines of Research: Comprehensive Health Care for Children and Adolescents; Evaluation of Child Health services and Programs, with an emphasis on care for children with Down syndrome. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at FMB-UNESP, in the disciplines of Social and Community Pediatrics and Genetic Pediatrics. She works as a preceptor in the Medical Residency Program in Pediatrics, coordinator of the Social and Community Pediatrics discipline, coordinator of the FMB Medical Residency Council, permanent professor in Postgraduate Programs at FMB-UNESP.
