Aparecido Donizete Rossi

Cido Rossi holds a degree in Languages and Literature (Portuguese/English) and a Masters and Doctorate in Literary Studies from UNESP (State University of São Paulo) Campus Araraquara/SP. He is a faculty member in the Languages and Literature programme at UNESP Araraquara, where he teaches English Literature; a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Programme in Literary Studies at the same institution; and a collaborating faculty member of the Graduate Programme in Literary Studies at UFSCar (Federal University of São Carlos) São Carlos/SP. His research focuses on manifestations of the Gothic, the Fantastic, and Fantasy in fiction, approached through the perspectives of Derridean Deconstruction and Freudian-Jungian Psychoanalysis. He is the leader of the research group Vertentes do Fantástico na Literatura (CNPq/UNESP) and a member of the research groups Estudos do Gótico (CNPq/UERJ) and Nós do Insólito (CNPq/UERJ).
