Carlos Antonio Caramori

Full Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine of the School of Medicine (FM) at São Paulo State University (Unesp), where he established the Center for Distance Education and Health Information Technologies, coordinated the Botucatu Hub of the "Pedagogia Cidadã" distance education project, and implemented the Clinical Research Unit. He also founded and coordinated the Professional Graduate Program in Clinical Research at FM Unesp and created the institution's Research Integrity Committee. A former member of the Science, Technology, and Innovation in Health Council of the São Paulo State Health Secretariat (20102012) and member of the Botucatu Municipal Council for Science, Technology, and Innovation, he served as an advisor to the National Clinical Research Network in teaching hospitals from 2005 to 2020. He currently coordinates the Professional Graduate Programs in the Medicine II field at CAPES and is a member of the Life Sciences College (2018present), where he focuses on graduate program evaluation, distance learning criteria (20202022), and the regulation of the Hybrid Teaching and Learning Process for stricto sensu graduate programs (2023). Furthermore, he coordinates the project "Development and execution of mapping and situational diagnosis of clinical research centers in Brazil" (Ministry of Health/DECIT/CNPq 20252027). Having previously served as a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow in Technological and Industrial Development (DTI), he is currently a Fellow in Human Resources Training and Retention (SET A).
