Graduated (2013) and Ph D (2019) in chemistry both by Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Has experience in the field of Chemistry, with focus in Physical Chemistry, working, during his Ph D, on cysteine adsorption and electrooxidation on Pt electrodes, meanly by spectroelectrochemical techniques. Between 2019 and 2021 as scientist in post-doctoral level in the Faculty of Physics at the Technical University of Munich - Germany (TUM), where he investigated the CO2 electroreduction. After getting back to Brazil, he was a FAPESP post-doctoral researcher at São Carlos Institute of Chemistry - USP, betwenn 2022 and 2023, where he investigated lignin oxidation in alkaline media. From July of 2023 on, André became a Assistent Professor at the Instituto de Química - Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (Unesp), where he develops projects on the assisted water electrolysis by application of plasmonic electrochemistry and susbtitution of the oxygen evolution reaction by other oxidative reactions.
