She holds a degree in Agronomy from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1989), a Masters degree in Agronomy (Horticulture) from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1992) and a PhD in Agronomy (Horticulture) from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1994). ). ). She is currently Full Professor at the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho/UNESP (2017). She was vice-coordinator of the Graduate Program in Agronomy/Horticulture at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of UNESP, Botucatu/SP campus (2007 to 2009) and Coordinator of this program (2009 to 2010 and 2013 to 2017). She works as a professor in the field of fruit growing at undergraduate and graduate levels since 2001 and develops research projects with an emphasis on production physiology, aiming at sustainable management and adaptation of fruit growing to subtropical climate regions, as well as propagation techniques and seedling production.
