Associate Professor at São Paulo State University (UNESP), where she holds a permanent faculty position in the Professional Master's Program in Geography. She earned her habilitation (Livre-Docência) in Applied Geoprocessing, along with a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Cartographic Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. At UNESP, she leads the Research Group on Geotechnologies Applied to Environmental Studies at the FCTE/Ourinhos campus. Her research is distinguished by strong international engagement, including postdoctoral fellowships in Geography (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ) and Spatial Statistics (University of Minho, Portugal) and a visiting scholar position at Kansas State University (USA) through the prestigious Fulbright Research Program. She maintains active collaborations with researchers in Argentina and Portugal. Engaging actively at the interface between academia and society, she serves as a deputy member of the Middle Paranapanema River Basin Committee (CBH-MP). She significantly contributes to the scientific community as an ad-hoc consultant for various journals and as a member of the Reviewer Board for the international journal Remote Sensing.
