Forest engineer (2000), Master (2003) and Doctor (2006) of Agronomy from the College of Agricultural Sciences at São Paulo State University (FCA/UNESP). Former director of the Foundation for Agricultural and Forestry Research (FEPAF) and former coordinator of the undergraduate course in forest engineering at FCA/UNESP. Associate Professor in the Department of Rural Engineering and Socioeconomics at FCA/UNESP, coordinator of the Agroforestry Biomass and Bioenergy Laboratory (LABB/IPBEN) and scientific head of the Cooperative Program on ForestMechanization and Automation at the Forestry Research Institute (PCMAF/IPEF). Currently Director of the UNESP Innovation Agency (AUIN/UNESP).
