Leptospira genus contains species that affect human health with varying degrees ofpathogenicity and the leptospirosis is transmitted to human by the urine of variousanimals (e.g. rodents, horses, dogs) through water, on the occasion of flooding, or incontaminate soil, being the entrance door injured in skin, nose, eyes and mouth.
