Cristiano Gonçalves Pereira

Post-Doctorate in Technological Innovation Management from FEA-RP/USP, Master's and PhD in Molecular Biology from FMRP/USP and bachelor in Biology at Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU). Experience in managing innovation projects, intellectual property, and competitive intelligence in a business incubator (SUPERA) and in consultancy activities. He was a visiting scholar at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and Portland State University, focusing on technology management and innovation in biotechnology. He joined the Butantan Institute in 2019 in the Business Development office, working on various co-development agreements such as the Chikungunya vaccine (Valneva), Rotavirus (Bravobio), Coronavac (Sinovac), and the consortium involving Butanvac (PATH). He is currently responsible for the Innovation and Technology Licensing area of the Butantan Institute (EILT), an office with the responsibilities of a Technology Transfer Office (TTO) charged with managing intellectual property, technology licensing (in and out), and innovation projects arising from partnerships.
