Currently serves as an Assistant Professor at São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP Bauru campus). Holds a Bachelors degree in Information Systems (Faculdade Orígenes Lessa, 2008), a Masters degree in Computer Science (UNESP, 2012), a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Federal University of São Carlos UFSCar, 2017), and completed Postdoctoral research in Computer Science at UNESP (20172023) and at the University of Campinas UNICAMP (20232024).He is a Supervisor in the Graduate Program in Computer Science (PPGCC/UNESP), teaching courses in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Coordinates the Recogna Research Group, focused on Artificial Intelligence applications in areas such as healthcare, agriculture, industry, and intelligent systems. He also coordinates the Carrossel Caipira Robotic Soccer Team, which employs Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Robotics techniques.He is a member of the Advanced Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the National Institute of Science and Technology on Artificial Intelligence and Green Technologies (INCT-IA), and collaborates with the Comparative Pathological Anatomy and Biomaterials Research Group at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of UNESP/Botucatu. He is also a Tutor in the Project for the Development of Competencies in Digital Health within the PET-Saúde/ISD program, supported by the Brazilian Ministry of Health. Coordinates a regular FAPESP-funded project focused on the development of a Bracelet for the Analysis of Neuromotor Behavior in Individuals with Parkinsons Disease. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
