Karina Pavão Patrício degree in Medicine at the Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (1995), Medical Residence in Public Health at the same institution (1997-2000), specializing in Homeopathy by Francois Lamasson Institute (1996-1998). A master's degree in Biological Sciences, Biosciences Institute, UNESP / Botucatu and a PhD in Environmental Health from the University of São Paulo - USP (2006). She is currently Assistant Professor, Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, UNESP / Botucatu. Tutor and Fellow Pet-health of the Ministry of Health since 2008. She has experience in Public Health with emphasis in Environmental Health, acting on the following topics: sustainable healthcare, medical education, health surveillance, rational use of medicines and complementary and integrative practices.
