The Agreement with CNPq - National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - aims at co-financing, in the State of São Paulo, projects aiming at contributing significantly to the scientific and technological development of the country, through research, retrieval and use of information available on the Virtual Herbarium and Authenticated Species of Brazilian Flora - REFLORA. It includes the plants collected in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, and filed in the herbaria of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, England, and the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris, France. Also, it is intended to promote the expansion of knowledge, sustainable use and conservation of flora, taxonomic identity assessment of all analyzed specimens, description of the identified materials-type and qualification of Brazilian students in taxonomy of flora species in the country.
