FAPESP Research Program on eScience and Data Science

The FAPESP Research Program on eScience and Data Science encourages bold, novel, and unconventional approaches to world class multidisciplinary research, including advances in data science, involving the collaboration of researchers in computing with colleagues in other domains. The program aims to foster research groups integrating experts from any kind of computing research, such as data science, human-computer interaction, algorithms, computational modeling, software engineering, or artificial intelligence, with scientists involved in areas ranging from the life sciences (including ag-vet), natural sciences and engineering, social sciences and the humanities.
