The agreement with the State of São Paulo, through its Secretaria do Meio Ambiente (SMA), and Fundação para a Conservação e a Produção Florestal do Estado de São Paulo (Fundação Florestal) aims to promote scientific and technological research, in order to support the implementation of the AICHI Targets (Strategic Plan 2011-2020 of the CBD - Convention on Biological Diversity) in the State of São Paulo. The objective is to support scientific and technological research projects developed by researchers from public and private higher education and research institutions in the State of São Paulo in order to generate subsidies for the design and implementation of innovative projects to promote conservation, restoration and sustainable use of biodiversity.
