The Bioteries and Biosafety Call aims to support improvements in the infrastructure and operation of small-animal facilities, as well as in the biosafety standards of research structures within academic and research institutions in the State of São Paulo. FAPESP will fund the acquisition of equipment and the execution of renovations to adapt animal facilities and laboratories to new equipment requirements, to strengthen biosafety research infrastructure, and to improve the quality of the animals bred and supplied.
