The Loyola's University Chicago, Prof. Dr. Colby Dickinson (Department of Theology), has been producing interesting and creative interpretations about the work of the contemporary philosopher Giorgio Agamben. His participation, as a lecturer, in 2017 at the VI International Colloquium of the Humanitas Unisinos Institute (IHU - São Leopoldo), entitled Politics, Economics and Theology: Contributions of the work of Giorgio Agamben, inspired the beginning of fruitful and promising dialogue with the Group of Ethics, Politics and Religion Research: questions of foundation, of the Post-Graduation Program in Religion Sciences of PUC-Campinas. This project intends to request the sponsorship of daily fees for the coming of the teacher to the said Program, with the holding of a Course and two Scientific Meetings from 7 to 11 May 2018. Due to the importance of the theme, the event will involve the involvement of all Research Groups linked to the PPGCR PUC-Campinas, as well as with the Research Group CriM (Criticism and Modernity) and teachers and students of the PPGCR of UMESP.
