Abstract
Professor Sergio Rosati is coordinator of all veterinary medicine research at the Veterinary School Torino, Italy. In your visit he will improve knowlegde in diagnostic technics in several ruminants diseases. Prof. Sergio Rosati will make discussions and practical works with ours pos-graduate students and interesting researchers in the infections diseases area. He has developed many kit diagnostics in Italia which our researchers not know yet, the schedule of his work will be described allow: 1) Identification and characterization of immunodominant proteins of ruminants herpesviruses (Caprine, Bovine and Bubaline herpesvirus), pestivirus (Bovine Viral Diarrhea virus 1, 2 and 3) and Mycoplasma agalactiae and M. meleagridis. 2) Genotypic and phenotypic characterization of pathogenic and commensal E. coli, with particular reference to virulence factors and antimicrobial resistance.
