Parents feel the need for information about the well-being and safety of their young children when they are under the care of others. We will study the feasibility of using a wearable bracelet, with restrictions of lightness, battery longevity and connectivity. With the research challenge due to the high data traffic, we propose monitoring all surrounding sounds, movements, temperature and heart rate. Artificial Intelligence algorithms should continually learn and, first, associate collection of words with emotions. Via audio processing, we will take a 2nd step by validating whether speech vibration patterns indicate the same emotion. We will take a 3rd step by validating whether the patterns of vital signs collected by the sensors also indicate the same emotion. The objective is to increase the level of confidence and success in identifying the child's emotional state and possible verbal abuse. The study of movements and noise processing detect falls and possible physical abuse. Dudu will be your children guardian and will send assertive alerts to parents for immediate action. In real time, parents will be able to access the child emotional status: well, happy, tearful or in awe. And they can hear everything your child is exposed to. Reports of changes in emotional state, sleep, and speech development can be accessed. In doing so, we reassure parents of their concern, freeing them up for other activities and, above all, guaranteeing the safety and life of their children by stopping violence against childhood.
