Abstract

The multifunctional green nanostructured composites aim the development of new technologies, from the use of products of less environmental impact, from renewable sources and environmentally correct. In this way, the development of so-called "green materials" implies preparation methodologies, containing renewable raw materials and/or chemical processes with reduced environmental impact, which result in products using clean and sustainable technology. Nowadays, it is verified that agroindustry generates innumerable biomass sources, which are often rejected by the industrial sector. However, these could be harnessed and transformed into the raw material of other products. Sugarcane bagasse, which is a by-product of agroindustry, has already been used in the production of furfuryl bioresine, also known as poly(furfuryl alcohol) (PFA). In this context, this study aims to obtain green nanocomposites, derived from renewable sources, with excellent thermal, mechanical, electrical and morphological properties. The achievement of the green nanocomposites proposed in this project aims to add benefits in the manufacture and application of artifacts that make up the interior of aircraft, with the advantage of being from a renewable source, with lower cost of production, besides being environmentally correct. The nanocomposites will be obtained by mixing in aqueous solution of p-toluenesulfonic acid (APTS) followed by ultrasonic tip ultrasound. The investigations will be carried out with the following methodologies: thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), tensile, flexural and impact tests, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy and four-point electrical conductivity meter.
