Abstract

The Center for Science in Management and Technology (CCGT) of UFSCar / Sorocaba was created in 2014 and since then has 4 Academic Departments with 4 undergraduate courses, 3 graduate Strictu Sensu and 5 graduate Lato Sensu. It has its own headquarters with individual rooms for teachers and laboratories in its headquarters and in construction coming from FINEP aid, scheduled for January. Teaching productivity is in the development phase, with many results still coming from master's and scientific initiation projects. The main objective of the demands presented in the present project is to provide conditions for researchers to consolidate their research lines, increase the number of publications and have the possibility of further training of human resources. Having as generators FAPESP Projects in the areas of Production Engineering and Computer Science, this proposal is divided into two sub-projects: a) Re-adaptation of infrastructure of research spaces b) Acquisition of books for research. With teachers and students benefiting in all areas covered by the CCGT, this proposal has the expected results to benefit all the research carried out within its laboratories, based on a more appropriate research environment, with better access to equipment and favoring permanence of the student in the UFSCar / Sorocaba environment. With the expansion of the collection, it is expected that all researchers and users of the library will benefit. It is worth highlighting the importance of the library and its collection of research development and teaching activities. (AU)
