Abstract

The Council of the Center of Biological and Health Sciences (CoC-CCBS) of Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), represented by the Director (Prof. Maria da Graça Gama Melão) and by the respective Heads of Departments, Undergraduate Courses Coordinators, Postgraduate Programs Coordinators, Students and Technical-Administrative Representatives and / or their representatives that constitute the council, at a Regular Meeting held on October 23, 2018, approved the Norms for Use and the Annual Application Plan of the Institutional Technical Reserve (2018) for CCBS / UFSCar Infrastructure, which consists in all resources granted (R$ 673,863.02). The coordination and management of the use of ITR resources (2018) was attributed to Profa. Dra. Angélica Maria Penteado Martins Dias, professor of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and of the Postgraduate Program in Ecology and Natural Resources.CCBS comprises a very heterogeneous Center, involving two large areas of knowledge - Biological and Health. Considering the specificities of these Areas that make up the academic, research and extension structure of the CCBS / UFSCar, CoC, following the guidelines of FAPESP, guided its deliberation in the diagnosis of the current situation, from which the necessary actions were established to overcome the difficulties identified and to improve CCBS' collective research infrastructure. The initial diagnosis was based on three main pillars: 1) Common infrastructure; 2) Infrastructure of the biological area; and 3) Infrastructure of the health area. (AU)
