Conception and development of a play-educational strategy for gender violence among Brazilian youth


The study proposes the development of a play-educational strategy in the form of a board game aimed at approaching gender violence among the young population. The general objective of the research is to develop and validate a playful technology as a communicational and educational strategy, set in a board game that favors interaction, problematization of reality and critical reflection on gender violence among young people. The specific objectives are: 1- To construct a theoretical-conceptual basis to subsidize the development of research that articulates educational-educational technologies with violence, gender and generation; Identify the perceptions of young people about gender and violence in different educational contexts; Characterize the target audience for games of interest and various media that consume, with which they coexist and relate To elaborate the theoretical conception, the rules and the cards of the game from the contents produced in the exploratory phase of the study in the theoretical referential light on the promotion of the gender equity and the confrontation of the gender based violence.7 Develop, evaluate and validate the contents of the cartons and the playability of the educational-play strategy embodied in a board game. Multiple, exploratory, descriptive case study with mixed methods of data production from the triangulation of strategies: workshops, non-participant observation, narrative review, and in-depth interviews. For analysis of the qualitative data, the study will be supported by the WebQDA Software and analyzed according to the discourse analysis proposal. It is hoped that the final product of the present study may favor inventive learning and critical reflection on gender violence and the aspects that determine it, in order to contribute to the prevention and coping of the phenomenon among young Brazilians.
