Mathematical, statistical and computational techniques applied to biosystems

Abstract

This project aims the investigation of statistical and mathematical techniques applied to biosystems optimization, as examples: optimal dengue control, optimization of process in sugar and ethanol companies, optimization of biodigester and optimal planning of radiotherapy for the treatment of cancer. The project is part of the activities developed in the Graduate Program: Biometrics and Agronomy (Energy in Agriculture), UNESP and it will be done in the Department of Biostatistics IB -UNESP, Botucatu, SP, Brazil.
