This project establishes a collaboration between team members at Emory University and GetulioVargas Foundation to conducted a randomized controlled trial of slum housing improvement. Inpartnership with the NGO Techo para Mi Vida, we will evaluate the political and well-beingconsequences of slum dwellers who receive a prefabricated house from Techo. This is our firstofficial partnership between the team members at Emory, Getulio Vargas Foundation, and Techo.Therefore, the primary intended outcome of the FAPESP Sprint grant is to provide resources toensure a successful collaboration and the completion of the randomized controlled trial.
