Abstract

Continuing with the Resource Allocation Plan presented to FAPESP in 2018, the present Institutional Project for Research Infrastructure of the Institute of Physics was revised and adapted to current needs and endorsed by the IFUSP Congregation on August 27, 2020. Investments will be directed to the IFUSP Computing Center, with an emphasis on the renewal of data storage disks that have shown exceedingly failures. The air conditioning system of the IF library will be renewed. We also suggest he acquisition of a modern closed-loop cryogenic system to continue replacing the use of liquid helium. Finally, some minor investments aim to increase the safety and the quality of research facilities in the Institute. (AU)
