Abstract

Research activities in the areas of food, civil, chemical and mechanical engineering. In the areas of food and chemical engineering, research is supported on the reuse of coconut pulp, the manufacture of green banana flour, the green coffee coating and microwave processes, to obtaining new products, developing new processes, identification of bioactive properties and characterization of materials. In the civil area, the parameters that influence the recycling of plaster are studied and in the mechanical area the research is directed to hot stamping and mathematical modeling for the high pressure ethanol injection system.
