Abstract

Funding for the publication of the book in English A blond Pele: Cold War and João Havelange election to FIFA presidency. The book is based on a dissertation, supported by FAPESP. The thesis won second place at the Premio História Social, had already been published in Portuguese by Editora Intermeios. The author was invited to publish the book in a European publisher, which has an important editorial committee. The present request aims the necessary funding to make possible the publication of this book in English. Book will be published on the collection Transnational Sport History, De Gruyter Publisher.
