Annual Plan for the Application of the Technical Reserve for Institutional Infrastructure of the Rosana Experimental Campus

Abstract

Among the guidelines of the constitutional tripod for teaching, research and university extension, research has played a fundamental role for society to develop, associated with quality education and extension to and with the external community. In recent years, research at the Rosana Campus has shown a considerable increase in attracting projects and aids, allowing a leap in quality in these indicators. The volume of publications in periodicals and events has grown systematically, with the main students being undergraduate students. Currently the Campus has several Scientific Initiation grants (FAPESP, CNPq, R&D Projects, Unesp) and projects with external funding (FAPESP, CNPq, R&D). With this volume of projects, the Campus has endeavored to provide physical spaces for everyone to develop their research in the best possible way, even in a scenario of scarcity of investment resources. The investments of RTI on the Campus in the last years were: 2018 - Acquisition of 4 computers for the development of CI work and reception of eventual researchers; 2019 - Acquisition of Container to expand research space; 2020 - Acquisition of Container to expand research space; The Campus does not currently have a research building and all laboratories and research groups are being installed in the existing facilities, through rearrangements of administrative and academic spaces. There is also no computer infrastructure to fully support research, especially with jobs that require high performance in data processing. In this sense, the resources of the Institutional Technical Reserve for the year 2021 will be allocated to the acquisition of 07 computers with high processing capacity, serving the most diverse areas of knowledge present in the research carried out on the Campus. These will be installed in the same space organized with computers from RTI / FAPESP in 2018. The Campus has systematically presented demands to the central administration for the construction of a more robust research structure, however given the financial moment of the university this has not been possible. The furniture (tables, chairs) and other items are already being made possible by the Campus. Such a space will be of importance for the exchange of experiences between students and teachers to further contribute to the quantitative and qualitative growth of the Campus research. (AU)
