Dynamics of many-body systems

Abstract

We plan in this project to study the collective propoerties of many-body systems. The project is divided into two parts: (a) structure and reactions of nuclei far from the valley of stability, and (b) collective excitations of Bose-Einstein condensates. The proponents of the present project are experts in both areas. It is envisaged that direct and indirect collaborations with experimental groups both inside and outside Brazil will be a principal aim of the present research endeavor. (AU)
