Abstract

The exploring activities of the guest researcher will be connected predominantly to the execution of the project entitled "Mobilization of law as a response to the precarization of labor: an analysis of the Brazilian experience in the 2010s", financed by CNPq and coordinated by the responsible for the current proposal. This project continues the study "Mobilization of law as a response to the precarization of labor: an analysis of the European experience" developed with the support of FAPESP by the proponent during the research internship in the CES of the University of Coimbra in 2018-2019. The stay of the foreign researcher in our Institution is covered by twofold significance: by the scientific perspective that represents the possibility of intellectual collaboration with an unequivocal expert professional, of a well-known investigative course in international level, in which we detach a fruitful production regarding to the theme of economical-productive and social-political transformations that entail the precarization of labor relations in the last decades; by the academic point of view, it expresses the perspective of narrowing of bonds between the CES, center with strong projection in the world scenario of social sciences, and the Research Group in Law and Social Change - DeMuS , as well as the post graduate programs in Law, Social Work and Planning and Analysis of Public Policies of UNESP. In both aspects, this cooperation has an essential meaning about the insertion of professors and postgraduate students (including graduation) of UNESP in an scientific exchange context that exceeds the representation of the guest researcher in itself, allowing the contact with interpretations and methodological and theorical approaches in evidence in the international scenario, taking into account the participation of the researcher in research networks with global reach. In the same sense, we emphasize the opportunity of sharing, with this same public, of the guest researcher´s expertise with references to the projects of major scales financed by programs of European Union and other international organizations. In order to implement the mentioned expectations, among the activities of the research specifically related to the project it stands out three main tasks: a) assistance in analysis of metamorphosis occurred in the last decades in productive organization and in the working processes, supporting in the interpretation and systematization of the correlation between the structural changes of the capitalist production and of the legislative and case law dynamics; b) collaboration in the comparative analysis between Brazil, other Latin American countries and European countries about the strategies of mobilization of the working class in the face of the process of recrudescence of the precarization of labor relations - in the 2010s and after the Covid-19 pandemic; c) articulation of the project in discussion with others that have a greater scope in Latin America in which the guest researcher participates, emphasizing the LATWORK, study financed by European Commission focused on the theme of informality of labor in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. In terms of activity of formation and improvement of working frameworks in the development of the project, the guest will be charged of the ministration of the workshop for the researchers of the doctorate, master degree and introduction to scientific research related to DeMuS about the themes that justify this study, focused in the similarities and differences found in the regions of advanced and peripheral capitalism. With the respect to diffusion of the scientific results arising from the cooperation of the guest with the group in UNESP, we predict, prominently, two activities: the participation in the organization of the scientific seminary about the theme of the project, that will be realized in the end of the term, and preparation of two articles for publication in journals.
