Abstract

This project aims to provide improvements in the infrastructure of research laboratories in the areas of Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering, always concentrating resources to allow the adequate development of FAPESP research projects, without spraying. It will also allow the contracting of preventive maintenance of all energy generators in the two Areas (I and II) of the School of Engineering of Lorena (EEL) of the University of São Paulo (USP), used to maintain the energy supply for the installations for research and internet network during any external supply interruptions. These resources will be essential for the maintenance of the Institution's research activities, allowing the adequate development of research projects.In this proposal, resources made available by FAPESP for Base Year 2019 will be used, in the total amount of R$ 101,006.02, in the following destinations: i) Department of Basic and Environmental Sciences (DEBAS); ii) Department of Materials Engineering (DEMAR); iii) Department of Chemical Engineering (DEQUI); and iv) General Infrastructure of the entire EEL-USP Unit.
