Psychosocial risk and protection factors, engagement and technology in Brazilian tele-workers

Abstract

The literature review points to an increase in the number of professionals in teleworking in Brazil in recent years. The Covid-19 pandemic increased the adoption of teleworking in several professions, bringing impacts to organizations and workers. The present study aims to analyze the impact of risk and psychosocial protection factors on the engagement of teleworkers. A cross-sectional survey will be conducted using the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire I (COPSOQ I), Techno-Stress Scale (RED / TIC), Demand Scale / ICT Resources, Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) and Social Support Scale to evaluate the proposed constructs. The research method used will be of a quantitative nature and will consist of the application of the instruments to doctors, psychologists and university professors who carry out teleworking through online. Participants will contacted by email from lists of the Federal Councils of Psychology, Nursing and Medicine and from hospitals, universities and other institutions of higher education. For the analysis of the data, the statistical analysis software SPSS and AMOS will be used for descriptive analysis, regression and structural models. (AU)
