Abstract

The financial support of the FAPESP named Institutional Technical Fund resources have been applied mainly to the consolidation of existing research groups and to foster the increase in research activities, with immediate consequences in the formation of human resources (postgraduate and scientific initiation projects). In the present plan of application presents the acquisition of equipment that can benefit researchers and their respective undergraduate and graduate students, who make use of the Laboratoryof Environmental Sciences for implementation the policy to improve conditions of scientific research.The Environmental Science Laboratory has an area of 40 m2, containing air conditioning, countertops and cabinets. Has equipment acquired through financing in funding agencies, mostly by FAPESP. The laboratory is linked to the Group Energy, Paper and Environment Research, with projects involving nanocellulose,biochar, effluent treatment, metals, Humic Substances and Water Resources. (AU)
