Development of a training platform using virtual simulation and teaching customization to measure performance and behavior of professionals

Abstract

It is about improving the qualification and continuous assessment platform for professionals in the areas of security, facilities and health, whose business model is based on recurring revenue and high scalability. The focus of this phase is on the development of innovative processes and functionalities so that the solution, resulting from previous research, can be effectively inserted in the national market, and later, internationally. Thus, expanding the possibility of sales success, highlighting new content involving the health area (area included during PIPE PHASE 2 due to the opportunity generated by the pandemic).Technologies based on Virtual Reality, Internet of Things (IoT) and analytical algorithms are being applied to analyze the performance of employees and increase the level of engagement with continuing learning activities. Associated with these technologies, training modules were implemented with active methodologies aimed at andragogy: PBL (Problem based learning) and hybrid teaching (inverted classroom), in addition to the use of personalized teaching through learning paths. In addition, to promote scalability, the concept of mobile learning was applied together with micro learning for mobile simulators. The purpose of this platform is to promote a level of learning and knowledge retention as good or better than traditional techniques (classroom and on-the-job-training), and this at a lower cost per person. In addition, it trains geographically dispersed professionals who work in shifts, with minimal interruption to operations. Decrease costs and improve the recruitment and selection process of professionals, improve the integration process of these new employees, in addition to carrying out from time to time performance and attitude practices with its professionals. In the market study carried out, it was found that training for operational activities is basically theoretical because it cannot involve the profile of professionals who are mostly not adapted to traditional learning with lectures, reading of handouts, video classes, etc. With the functionalities improvements, it will be possible to increase the acceptance of innovation by the various segments of the health, safety and facilities market. In addition, it envisions the automation of the platform's processes so that it can meet a greater number of users and customer needs that were collected throughout the solution's demonstration period. This project will simplify the system's implementation phase with the client, improving its scalability, in addition to promoting content generated by institutional partners to facilitate direct sales.
