Abstract
In this project, we propose the investigation of non-stationary black holes, characterized by their trapping horizons. This formalism is particularly useful in the analysis of dynamical spacetimes, and at the same time admits a thermodynamic description associated to the horizons. Two physical scenarios to be considered are: the description of black holes in cosmological environments; and the thermodynamic analysis of adS/CFT correspondences in systems out of equilibrium. In the analysis of cosmological black holes, it is expected that the investigation of these structures could be used in the modeling of primordial black holes. Realistic models will be proposed according to the expected phenomenology for compact objects in the young and expanding universe. For the applications involving adS/CFT dualities, a new thermodynamic approach in the gravitational sector will be compared with the thermodynamic limit of the fluid/gravity regime of the correspondences.
