Portal3D designed a high-volume, high-speed, multi-material printer that allows its use with polymers and suspensions, providing flexibility in its application. However, it is necessary to develop an extruder for suspensions, due to the lack of adequate technology and lack of products on the market capable of meeting mainly the demand of civil construction and architecture. In this way, we propose the development of a modular and interchangeable extruder capable of being applicable to various models of 3D printers available on the market. Our proposal consists in the optimization of the extrusion process of ceramic suspensions, through computational modeling, aiming to minimize flow control problems, reduce pressure in the extruder line, improve the consistency of the suspension, and the development of a system that allows continuous extrusion.Furthermore, the development of a modular extruder with national technology allows the democratization of this technology, facilitating its access to the maker community, researchers and 3D printing enthusiasts, in addition to meeting the demands of civil construction and architecture.
