Abstract

This research project is part of the Laboratory of Studies on Art, Body and Education (Laborarte), form School of Education, University of Campinas (Unicamp) and is situated on the Fapesp Call - Innovative approaches at the research on Language, Communication and/or Arts (LinCAr). It is a narrative research that is supported by a dialogical and socio-historical language's approach. Has as its primary objective to understand and analyze how the process of constitution of women - black, indigenous and white - as teachers of basic education in public schools in different Brazil's regions has been taking place. As well, how this process of teacher constitution has been crossed by different forms of language, especially those that manifest themselves through art, the body, gestures, body expression. We are interested in hearing these women teachers. Then, we will invite them to take the word to produce oral, written and visual narratives about their stories lived in the plurality of experiences, between subjects who interact, who relate and who communicate through multiple languages, especially the languages of art. Our intention is also to put into circulation meanings about gender and ethnic-racial relations in order to understand how they intersect in the processes of teacher constitution of these women teachers. The investigation will be conducted by an interdisciplinary team with complementary expertise and diverse research experience, composed mostly of women from different Brazilian institutions (covering the five regions of the country), in addition to an international university.
