Abstract

The research proposal aims to develop and structure a real estate market information system capable of encompassing data and information associated with real estate offers (buying and selling) that help to characterize the land and real estate markets, through the measurement of their prices, quantities, typologies, and locations. It is about filling a gap identified in most research in the area, restricted to case studies, centered on cities in metropolitan areas and delimited by only one dimension of processes, agents, forms or scales. The particularities of different cities will be valued, articulating them to the broad understanding of the contemporary transformations of Brazilian cities, in different socio-spatial formations, positioned in different strata of the urban network and in different Brazilian macro-regions, allowing comparisons. The challenges presented by this research deal exactly with developing a methodology that is capable of presenting web tools for collecting, cleaning and analyzing data, seeking to extract useful elements, organize them and analyze them to investigate spatial and temporal patterns - including accessibility - in the residential real estate market, including land and residential properties offered for sale.
