Abstract

Despite the high false-negative rates of tuberculin skin test tests, currently, in Brazil, there is no recommendation for the diagnosis of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) using the Interferon-Gamma Release Assays (IGRA) method in patients with lymphomas, hampering adequate investigation and treatment. Objective: to investigate and diagnose latent tuberculosis in patients with lymphomas. Method: prospective and descriptive study, with data collection in a tertiary university hospital, located in the interior of the state of São Paulo, of patients older than 18 years with lymphomas. Latent tuberculosis will be investigated through PPD and IGRA tests. Sociodemographic and clinical data such as type of lymphoma and previous contact with tuberculosis patients will be collected.
