Abstract
The present proposal aims to acquire MUEs for the implementation of Single Cells Omics analysis at UNICAMP and its availability through the Central Laboratory of High Performance Technologies in Life Sciences (LaCTAD). Four different equipments were requested, being a spectral analyzer flow cytometer, a Cell Sorter flow cytometer, a single cell separation system and a medium capacity server for bioinformatics data processing. With these acquisitions and the structure already in place at the facility, it will be possible for LaCTAD to offer its users a complete solution for Single Cell analysis, including all stages, from the characterization of the different cell populations present in the samples, separation of the cell population of interest and separation of single cells, which can proceed to proteomics and metabolomics analysis by mass spectrometry or to next-gen sequencing analyzes of genomes, exomes, transcriptomes and metagenomes, and the generated data can be processed by bioinformatics. Over the last ten years since its implementation, LaCTAD (https://www.lactad.unicamp.br) has established itself as a reference in providing complex technologies and services with high quality in the areas of Genomics, Proteomics, Cell Biology and Bioinformatics, with a specialized team capable of advising users in the experimental design to obtain the best use of the functions of each equipment and in the analysis of the results. With the acquisition of the requested MUEs, it is intended that LaCTAD will also become a reference in spectral flow cytometry for complex multicolor analysis and Cell Sorting for cell population separation and rare cell studies, in addition to Single Cells Omics analysis.
