Abstract

This visiting researcher project is directly linked to the Thematic Project "Pedagogies, Processes and Archives of Presence". This project focuses on critically analysing the core's pedagogical processes.Since its beginnings, Lume has created short and medium-term practical pedagogical processes to empower the body and voice with the aim of disseminating and democratising its practical and poetic research. Despite this action being one of the pillars of its research, in its almost 40 years of existence, Lume has never vertically systematised or analysed its pedagogical processes. In this way, the thematic project aims to carry out a critical textual analysis, carried out by nationally and internationally renowned researchers in the field of classroom arts, and to produce an audiovisual documentation of the didactic-pedagogical process of nine courses created by Lume, focusing on their historical, ethical, technical and poetic aspects. Researcher Janko Navarro, a professor at the National University of Costa Rica, focuses his research on the vocal and body training of actors, one of whose areas of research is the training developed at LUME. For this visiting researcher project, he will carry out on-site observation of two short courses at LUME to be held in February 2025 and then carry out a written critical analysis of these processes.
