Abstract

Professor Mercedes Maroto-Valer will be involved in the development of a collaboration proposal for a project that will continue previous initiatives funded by Fapesp (processes 2019/16966-8 and 2016/18203-3), carried out within the scope of the Combustion and Carbon Capture Laboratory (LC3). These projects focus on carbon capture technologies. Additionally, her contribution is expected through teaching classes in the graduate program, addressing topics related to climate change. This role will enrich the students' knowledge and foster potential collaborations between institutions. Furthermore, the professor will lecture at the Central Laboratory of Scientific Excellence (CLaCE) of the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences (FEG-Unesp), focusing on climate change. This event will be widely promoted, aiming for the participation of students, researchers, technicians, and faculty members of the institution and other interested institutions. (AU)
