Abstract

This project aims to promote the development of research and teaching activities related mainly to sustainability and Industry 4.0, respectively the competencies of the Visiting Professor and the Host Professor, strengthen the partnership between researchers from Brazil and India, and boost the current projects conducted by the research team "Sustainability and Integrated Smart Management Systems" led by Professor Dr. Otávio José de Oliveira (Principal Investigator). To do this, Professor Dr. Umakanta Mishra, from Vellore Institute of Technology, India, will visit the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Guaratinguetá campus, for two months to cooperate in research and teaching activities. His activities will focus on collaboration and participation in the development of ongoing scientific initiation, master's and doctorate research, and the training of human resources. Professor Dr. Mishra will cooperate in undergraduate and postgraduate classes and student co-supervisions. He will also give lectures and workshops to students, professors, and managers of organizations in the region of Vale do Paraíba to share his professional experience and the results of his research. In addition, discussions will be held to prospect for new research to be submitted to FAPESP and other funding agencies in national and international calls. Thus, his visit will contribute on several fronts to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the areas of sustainability and Industry 4.0 and the training of better-qualified human resources. (AU)
