The Council of the Center for Biological and Health Sciences (CoC/CCBS) of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), represented by the Director of the CCBS (Professor Dr. Isabela Aparecida de Oliveira Lussi, sworn in on October 8, 2022), by the Vice-Director (Professor Dr. Maria da Graça Gama Melão, sworn in as Vice-Director on October 8, 2022), by the Heads of the Departments, Undergraduate Course Coordinators, Graduate Program Coordinators, Technical-Administrative Representatives and Students that make up the aforementioned collegiate body, in its 157th Regular Meeting, held on March 26, 2024, discussed, approved and forwarded for the manifestation of the Scientific Directorate of FAPESP the Rules for Use and the Annual Plan for Application of the Institutional Technical Reserve, fiscal year 2024 (base year). 2023) - RTI-2024 - within the scope of the CCBS/UFSCar Infrastructure. It is important to highlight that the CoC/CCBS decided on the application plan that includes all the resources granted (R$ 219,062.10).CCBS comprises a very heterogeneous Center, involving two large areas of knowledge - Biological Sciences and Health. Considering the specificities of these Areas that make up the academic, research and extension structure of the CCBS / UFSCar, CoC-CCBS, following the guidelines of FAPESP, guided its deliberation in the diagnosis of the current situation, from which the necessary actions were established to overcome the difficulties identified and to improve CCBS' collective research infrastructure. The initial diagnosis was based on three main pillars: 1) Common infrastructure; 2) Infrastructure of the biological area; and 3) Infrastructure of the health area. (AU)
